3rd COALition project meeting in Târgu Mureș, Romania

On 20–21 May 2025, the COALition project partners met in Târgu Mureș, Romania, for a two-day working session.

The agenda covered key work packages on designing a joint R&I strategy for sustainable energy (SU, KiNNO), developing investment and action plans (SZREDA), and preparing pilot projects (CJM, PPC). UMFST presented details for three experimental research projects, while ICE and CERTH led discussions on communication, dissemination, and project management.

Participants also visited UMFST’s research facilities, including demonstrations of ORC technologies and a guided tour of the Botanical Garden.

The event marked another step forward in building a strong innovation ecosystem for a just energy transition.
